Patrick Cohendet is a professor at the Department of International Business at HEC Montreal and the co-director of Mosaic, a research hub on the management of innovation and creation. Professor Cohendet’s research interests include the economics of innovation, knowledge management, and the economics of knowledge and creativity. He is the author of numerous articles and has co-authored several books including ‘Knowledge Management: Firms and Knowledge Communities (2006)’ and ‘The Architectures of Knowledge: Firms, Capabilities and Communities (2004)’. He has supervised numerous research projects at the Bureau of Theoretical and Applied Economics (BETA) and a research lab at the University of Strasbourg that focuses on the economic and social impact of new technologies. He has also conducted a series of economic studies on innovation for different organizations, such as the European Commission, the OECD, the Council of Europe and the European Space Agency.
