Michel Lauzon is the founder and creative leader of LAAB (Applied Laboratory of Architecture and Brandscaping), a strategic design firm founded in 2020. Michel was also President and CEO of AEdifica as well as Senior Creative Partner of Lemay from 2009 to 2017. At the age of 29, Michel co-founded NOMADE, one of Canada’s leading architectural firms, and served as its president from 2001 to 2009.
A seasoned creative director and recognized expert in innovation through design, Michel Lauzon is also an accomplished designer in the following disciplines: architecture, urban design and interior design. He has a proven ability to solve complex problems in a variety of markets and typologies: mixed-use spaces, hotels, offices, retail, multi-unit residential, skyscrapers, cultural, sports and tourism facilities, transportation, theme parks and new city designs.
This unique combination of design skills has allowed him to design nearly 50 iconic master plans in all four corners of the world: Canada, United States, North Africa (Algeria, Morocco), Near and Far East (UAE, Pakistan, India, China). He has created memorable designs and iconic spaces for brands such as Adidas, Cirque du Soleil, Ubisoft, Bombardier and Lumenpulse.
