Erik Grab began his career as a sales representative at Michelin, before moving to the agency side. He held various management positions at GfK and Icon Added Value before being recruited again by Michelin, this time as Global Marketing Director. Subsequently, he began to assume various responsibilities in innovation and strategic anticipation, until he became Vice President of Strategic Anticipation, Innovation and Sustainable Development, his current position at Michelin. In this position, Erik brings more than 10 years of market research experience in the automotive industry to understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the emergence of new technologies and business models, and the growing international demand for mobility solutions.

Erik is passionate about creativity, innovation and sustainable development. He has created an Open lab for innovation for companies in the mobility sector. He co-authored the Michelin Green Paper on Sustainable Mobility (2014) and is the author of a chapter in the book ‘Innovation Communities’ (B. Sarasin, P. Cohendet and L. Simon (EMS Editions, 2017).
