Alain Aubertin is the President and CEO of the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ). He holds a PhD in Innovation Management from Polytechnique Montreal and has over 30 years of experience in private enterprise, public sector, and the academia. Since joining CRIAQ in 2012, Alain has been instrumental in fostring collaboration between industry and research sectors to drive technological advancements and innovation. His leadership has transformed CRIAQ into a central hub in Quebec’s aerospace sector, guiding the future of technology and innovation.
Throughout his career, Alain has managed over 150 case studies with organizations across North America, Europe, Russia, Japan, and South America. His work emphasizes developing collaborative approaches to innovation, focusing on creating sustainable benefits for both partners and society. Alain’s passion for emerging technologies, international development, and research partnerships continues to propel CRIAQ’s mission of enhancing the aerospace industry through innovative research and development, ensuring it remains at the forefront of global aerospace innovation.
