Ignasi Armengol (Barcelona, 1964) is a seasoned leader in Public Management, driving transformative projects for cities. Notable contributions include roles in Barcelona’s 1992 Olympic Games, the Universal Forum of Cultures 2004, and pioneering initiatives like Bicing and T-Mobilitat. He managed emblematic spaces such as Parc Güell and the Olympic Ring. His expertise extends to Panama City’s transport system overhaul. Within Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), Armengol held key positions, including General Manager of the Bus Service. He also served as General Manager of Mass Transport at Panama’s FIRST TRANSIT and as International Manager at Grupo Vectalia. Armengol holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology, with additional qualifications in Public Management.
