Basil Agba is the Manager of Vision and Partnerships at Hydro-Québec’s Research Centre, where he leads the company’s technological vision and strengthens strategic partnerships. With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and wireless networks, he excels in leading multidisciplinary teams with participative leadership and exceptional political and communication skills. Basil thrives on new challenges and finds motivation in high-pressure environments, focusing on open innovation and targeted strategic partnerships for more than a decade.
In addition to his industry expertise, Basil has nearly 20 years of teaching experience at both college and university levels, specializing in mathematics, physics, and telecommunications. Teaching is his passion, and he takes pride in sharing his knowledge with colleagues and mentoring the next generation of professionals. Dr. Bagba also mentors Masters and PhD students, guiding their research and preparing them for successful careers.
