HacTe, Barcelona Hub for Art, Science and Technology
Tere Badia holds a degree in Art History from the Universitat de Barcelona and a Master’s in Information and Knowledge Society from the IN3 (Internet Interdisciplinary Institute-UOC). She has extensive experience working in the field of cultural research and management in various formats. Additionally, she provides independent consulting to private and public organizations on the intersection of art, science, technology, society, culture, sustainability, cultural policies, and cultural rights. From 2010 to 2017, Tere Badia was the Director of Hangar, a centre for artistic production and research in Barcelona. From 2018 to 2022, she held the position of Secretary General at Culture Action Europe in Brussels. Starting in December 2024, she will be the Director of HacTe, the hub for Arts, Sciences, and Technologies in Barcelona.
