Henry Mintzberg est sans aucun doute l’un des plus grands penseurs de la stratégie et du management des organisations. Titulaire de la chaire Cleghorn à la faculté de Gestion Desautels de l’Université McGill, ses travaux restent aujourd’hui des références fondamentales à la base de la formation et de la réflexion des dirigeants du monde entier.
Auteur prolifique d’ouvrages en management sur des sujets tels que le métier de dirigeant, l’efficacité managériale, la structure des organisations et la planification stratégique, il a été primé pour ses articles par les institutions académiques les plus prestigieuses (Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management, Association of Management Consulting Firms, etc.). Il est par ailleurs l’auteur d’une quinzaine de livres, dont le plus récent : Rebalancing Society. En 2015, il a été récipiendaire du Thinkers 50 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Henry Mintzberg a été également professeur d’organisation à l’Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) de Fontainebleau, en France. Il est membre fondateur et ancien Président (1988-1991) de la Strategic Management Society.
Il a obtenu ses diplômes de maîtrise et de doctorat à la Sloan School of Management du MIT aux États-Unis et son diplôme de génie mécanique à l’Université McGill. Entre ses études, il a mis ses compétences au service du Canadien National.

In Europe, after a Master’s degree in Journalism and Social Communication (Université de Bruxelles), he left in 1978 for Niger where he taught African literature to future teachers. Back in Europe in 1980, he made his advertising classes in the Euro RSCG and TBWA networks before founding his own agency: Kadratura. Patrick arrived in Canada in 1994 as Creative Vice President at Cossette. In 2005, he became Chief Convergent Creative Office and he had exercise his creative leadership for clients such as Bell, Bank of Montreal, GM, McDo… For 15 years in HEC Montreal, he has been teaching Histoire de la Consommation ( DESSCM). From 2010 to 2013, at Radio-Canada he was General Manager in charge of the redesign of its radio programs, establishing a common music strategy for Radio-Canada and CBC. Since 2014, Patrick is Head of Digital Strategy and Innovation at Kedge BS and teacher at the MBA.

After 15 years of covering the forces of destruction in the world and receiving several awards and honours (FIGRA prize, Silver Palm Award in NY, Audience Award at the SCOOP festival in Angers…) Catherine Berthillier decided to devote her skills and her network of French and international contacts to building the world of tomorrow. Shamengo was launched in October 2011 and is produced by the film production company Kaïa Productions.

Lise Boily est formée à l’Anthropologie culturelle au Canada et aux États-Unis. S’appuyant sur les théories anthropologiques de la technique et du changement culturel, elle étudie la diffusion des connaissances et les pratiques novatrices qui supportent la créativité et l’innovation dans les institutions culturelles. Ses travaux analysent les processus avec lesquels la mémoire collective est redistribuée et réinterprétée par la médiation des musées et des nouveaux supports tels que les collections numériques, la cybermuséologie, les narrations numériques… Elle fait partie du comité Cognition et Communication de la Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (MSH) à Paris, elle est membre de la Chaire ITEN, Innovation Transmission Edition Numérique de la Fondation de la Maison des Sciences de l’Homme à Paris et a été membre du Comité d’experts qui a contribué à la préparation du Rapport mondial sur la diversité culturelle de l’UNESCO (2009).

He works on leading by example though a more sustainable approach of the campus (12 000 students).
Board Member of different NGOs, Foundations, and Social entreprise, he is a leading actor in working groups mainly focalized on social responsibility for higher education institutions: UN PRME (Principle for responsible Management Education), GRLI (Globally responsible Leadership Initiative) and GUPES-UNEP).

Last but not least, he has launched the sustainability literacy Test, the first international assessment tool of SD knowledge, already taken by 43.000 students from 440 universities from 48 countries.

La beauté et les enjeux de la nature ont amené Anne Charpentier à réaliser deux maîtrises à l’Université de Montréal, l’une en Sciences biologiques et l’autre en Muséologie. Membre du groupe de conception du Biodôme de Montréal, elle y a été responsable des expositions et des activités culturelles. Elle a également été responsable des jardins culturels au Jardin botanique de Montréal. De 2003 à 2005, elle a dirigé le renouvellement de l’ensemble des expositions de la Biosphère d’Environnement Canada. L’importance de l’accès à la culture l’ont aussi amenée à diriger les bibliothèques et les maisons de la culture d’un arrondissement de Montréal. Ses réalisations et plus de vingt ans d’implication en muséologie et en culture scientifique, lui valaient en 2005 le prix pour « Contribution exceptionnelle » de l’Association canadienne des centres de sciences.
Depuis 2008, Anne Charpentier a le plaisir de diriger l’Insectarium Montréal, un Espace pour la vie. À travers la Métamorphose de l’Insectarium, elle poursuit sa motivation et curiosité principale: celle d’explorer les fascinantes relations entre les humains et la nature.

Christian Defélix completed a PhD in human resources management at HEC Paris in 1995 and joined University of Grenoble in 1996. His favourite fields for courses and research are skill-based management, clusters and collaborative projects, human resources and innovation. He published many articles on those topics in academic journals, and is the co-author of two recent research books : Gestion des compétences. Nouvelles dimensions, nouvelles relations (with D. Retour and T. Picq, 2009) and Ressources humaines, RSE et territoires : défis théoriques, réalisations pratiques (with A. Loubes, I. Bories-Azeau and O. Uzan, 2015). Olivier Irrmann is Professor of Innovation Management and Co-Design at ISEN Lille, Engineering school at the Catholic University of Lille, France. He is the head of research for the strategic initiative on Innovation and Co-Design (ADICODE) a major project funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Lille Metropolitan Area. Olivier is conducting research on the topics of collective intelligence, collaborative innovation, the management of creative hubs and intercultural communication in business contexts. Mantautas Krukauskas

Mantautas Krukauskas has Masters Degrees in piano and composition and is currently teaching electronic and computer music and sound art disciplines in the Department of Composition at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 2012, he has been head of the composition study programme committee. His compositions – including chamber music, audio-visual works and music for theatre productions – have been performed in Lithuania, Austria, Germany, the US and other countries. As a composer, Krukauskas has been the winner of two international competitions, both of which took place in Austria. He has been actively involved in various organisational activities, including project coordination and event organising, as well as international research and education programmes. His interests embrace creativity, inter-disciplinarity, music and media technologies and a synergy of different aesthetic and cultural approaches. Mantautas Krukauskas as well is one of the founders and most active collaborators of Music Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC) of Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, which is focusing its activities on synergy of art, research and technologies.

À l’automne 2005, le Conseil d’administration de CBC/Radio-Canada le nomme vice-président principal pour l’ensemble des Services français de Radio-Canada et lui confie le mandat de procéder à l’intégration des services de radio, de télévision et d’Internet de Radio-Canada afin de créer un des plus importants groupes de radiodiffusion publique de langue française, le seul en Amérique du Nord.
Monsieur Lafrance est Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Pléiade, décerné par l’Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie, Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres ainsi que Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur de la République française.
Il est maintenant Professeur Associé à HEC Montréal et siège aux Conseils d’administration de la Société des alcools du Québec, du Groupe Square Victoria et de l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal.

Denys Lapointe is an experienced executive with an impressive track record in industrial design, more specifically in the field of transportation. Working at Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) for the last 30 years, and presently acting as Senior Vice-President of Design & Innovation and Corporate Image, Denys has been a key player throughout the years in helping position the company as an undisputed leader in the motorized recreational vehicle’s arena. Denys and his team were responsible for the creation of the new Can-am™ Spyder™, the 3-wheel roadster which is currently challenging the current motorcycle paradigm, since its launch in 2008.
Denys holds a bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Quebec in Montreal (1985). He is an active member of the advisory board for the Center for creative studies in Detroit and The board of the CTA (Centre de technologie avancés –Université de Sherbrooke and BRP). Denys is also a member of several leading Design associations, such as ICSID, IDSA , ACID, ADIQ.
Denys and his team have received numerous trade awards but more importantly over 40 international Design Awards, counting Red Dots-Germany, IDEA-US, IF-Germany, Good Design-Australia, Good Design-Japan and Good Design-US.

Rachel Léger est directrice du Biodôme de Montréal. Titulaire d’une maîtrise en sciences biologiques de l’Université de Montréal, et d’un baccalauréat en biologie marine de University of British Columbia de Vancouver.
Rachel Léger a fait partie de l’équipe de conception, planification et de construction du Biodôme. Madame Léger a occupé au Biodôme les fonctions de chef de division collections vivantes et recherche dès l’ouverture du Biodôme jusqu’en 2006.
Elle a participé à la planification préliminaire de plusieurs projets de Biodôme à l’étranger; en Thaïlande, au Pérou, en France et au Qatar.
De 1998 à 2012, chroniqueuse scientifique à la radio de Radio-Canada pour l’émission scientifique « Les Années lumière » avec Yanick Villedieu. Elle y a enregistré plus d’une centaine de chroniques sur l’environnement, la faune et la flore.
En 1993, elle se voyait décerner le titre de Femme de l’année dans la catégorie professionnelle décerné par le Salon de la Femme du Québec. En 2008, elle recevait le prix « Méritas » de la Fédération acadienne du Québec, attribué à une personnalité acadienne vivant au Québec. Et en 2010, elle se voyait décerner un diplôme d’honneur de l’Université de Montréal pour ses réalisations professionnelles. Rachel Léger était également présidente de la CAZA, l’Association des zoos et aquariums accrédités du Canada de 2008 à 2010.

An eclectic thinker who excels in managing creative teams, Roger dedicates himself to innovation and interactive scenography, architectural and advanced creations for public spaces and galleries, and the field of entertainment. As executive producer, he has participated in creative development for Cirque du Soleil and in the presentation of the Cirque’s first permanent shows in Las Vegas. Roger has worked on numerous designs for hotels, casinos, and museums in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and America. He is often invited by the HEC Business School and MOSAIC in Montreal as a speaker for various conferences on the business of creativity and as a guest lecturer for their course, « Montreal-Barcelona, Creative Cities ». York University in Toronto and the Carnegie Melon Entertainment Technology Center have also sought his opinion on the future of the creative industry.

Marlei Pozzebon is full professor at HEC Montréal and also associate professor at FGV/EAESP. Some keywords of her research are social innovation, social change, citizen creativity, local and sustainable development and global-local dialogue. Her research interests are linked to the possibilities of better understanding and promoting social change using practice-based theoretical lenses and qualitative research methods. In terms of theories, structuration theory, different forms of social constructivism and critical approaches are appealing for her. She has published articles in Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Information Technology and People, Journal of Information Technology, Public Administration, Journal of Change Management, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Revista de Administração de Empresas, International Journal of Qualitative Methods, and Brazilian Administrative Review, among others.
Currently, she is working in four research programs investigating social innovations:
The first – Financial inclusion – is about the use of ICT to support microfinance in Brazil and South America.
The second – Social business – is about an academic and pedagogical experience with innovative business models that seek to decrease poverty by the development of social skills among management students and executives.
The third – Citizen creativity – is about the civil society movements dealing with quality of life, social justice and sustainability.
The fourth – Technology and sustainability – is about the use of ICT to help companies and municipalities to manage sustainability practices.
Dr Madanmohan Rao

Dr Madanmohan Rao is a journalist, author, blogger and consultant in media and management based in Bangalore, India. He was the world music editor at Rave magazine, where he reviewed concerts, albums and music genres for seven years. Madan was also a radio jockey for world music at WorldSpace Satellite Radio, where he produced a weekly two-hour programme on world music. He is currently global correspondent for World Music Central and Jazzuality.
He was formerly an RJ for world music at WMUA FM 91.1 in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA. Madan is also music editor for IndiaSe (“From India”) magazine published from Singapore. He is the founder of the “World of Proverbs” project and book series which includes the book “Indian Proverbs and Quotations.”
Madan has covered a range of international music festivals including WOMAD in Singapore, JakJazz and JavaJazz in Jakarta, Fireflies and Guitar Gurus in Bangalore, PopKomm in Berlin, WOMEX in Sevilla, ReggaeFestivalen in Sweden, Day of Peace and Rotterdam International Jazz Festival in Holland, Miri Jazz Festival in Malaysia, Bali Spirit Festival in Indonesia, Penang World Music Festival and Sarawak Rainforest World Music Festival in Malaysia. He has published reviews of over 500 albums of world music, featuring dozens of artistes, genres and countries.
Madan is also a frequent speaker on the international conference circuit, and has given talks and lectures in over 75 countries around the world. He was previously research director at the Asian Media Information and Communication centre (AMIC) in Singapore, where he edited publications, conducted research and helped organise the annual AMIC media summits.
He was the communications director at the United Nations Inter Press Service bureau in New York, and vice president at IndiaWorld Communications in Bombay. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology at Bombay and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with an M.S. in computer science and a Ph.D. in communications.
Madan grew up in Poona, went to college in Bombay, and grad school in the US. He has been based in Bangalore for the last 12 years. His hobbies include travel, hiking, swimming and beer appreciation.

Personnalité renommée de l’industrie des communications du Québec, Jean-Jacques Stréliski a fait carrière dans les plus grandes agences québécoises, ici et en France. Avant de se consacrer à l’enseignement, il occupait récemment encore, les fonctions de vice-président et directeur général associé, Publicis Montréal.
Cofondateur et associé de l’agence Cossette à Montréal où il oeuvra de 1977 à 1991 ans en qualité de vice-président et directeur de création, il présida ensuite durant quatre ans l’agence BCP-Stréliski à Paris, puis l’agence PNMD-BBDO à Montréal jusqu’en 2001. Alfons Calderón
Alfons Calderón is acting Director at the Government of Quebec Office for the Iberian Peninsula in Barcelona where he has been economic and business development officer since 1999. He is the former Project Manager for the American Division at the Catalonia Office of Foreign Investment. He had previously worked at the Barcelona Governance Project at ESADE sponsored by the United Nations University, and at the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Paris. He is a former trainee of the European Commission in Brussels.

Kevin Gilmore

Nommé vice-président exécutif et chef de l’exploitation du Club de hockey Canadien le 7 avril 2011, Kevin Gilmore chapeaute plusieurs secteurs de l’entreprise, dont les partenariats corporatifs, les ventes et le marketing en plus de veiller au développement des projets majeurs de la compagnie tout en travaillant en symbiose avec le propriétaire et président de l’équipe Geoff Molson.
Entre 2006 et 2009, il fut vice-président principal, responsable du développement corporatif et de la planification stratégique chez Anschutz Entertainment Group. Inc. (AEG). Au sein de ce conglomérat, il voyait au développement des affaires au niveau international pour l’ensemble d’AEG. De 1999 à 2006, il fut vice-président principal des opérations hockey et directeur général adjoint avec les Kings de Los Angeles tout en cumulant les fonctions de gouverneur et directeur général des Monarchs de Manchester, le club affilié des Kings.
En 1998, il fondait Professional Sports Advisors Group et en assumait la présidence, agissant comme consultant auprès de clients de trois des quatre principales ligues de sport professionnel en Amérique du nord. Auparavant, il fut vice-président, affaires corporatives avec Anaheim Sports, Inc. propriétaire des Mighty Ducks d’Anaheim et du club de baseball les Angels d’Anaheim (1993- 1998). De 1991 à 1993 il était avocat avec The Walt Disney Company (Disney), responsable pour la négociation et gestion de contrats de commandite avec les partenaires majeures de Disney tel que The Coca-Cola Company, American Express, Nestlé, et Federal Express. Il fut aussi l’avocat chargé du dossier des Mighty Ducks d’Anaheim lorsque Disney s’est lancé dans le domaine du sport professionnel et fut le négociateur principal avec la LNH pour l’acquisition de l’équipe et avec la ville d’Anaheim concernant l’amphithéâtre.
Avant de se joindre à Disney il fut pendant trois ans associé au sein de la firme Latham & Watkins, à Los Angeles, après avoir amorcé sa carrière au cabinet d’avocats Martineau Walker, à Montréal. Diplômé de la faculté de droit de l’Université d’Ottawa, en droit civil, promotion de 1986, et en common law, promotion de 1987, il est également titulaire d’un certificat en finances de l’Université de Chicago, obtenu en 2007.
Le 21 avril 2013, il était élu au sein du conseil d’administration du Comité olympique canadien.

Réjean Landry has accumulated 30 years of experience for Lallemand, an international manufacturer of yeast and bacteria, employing today over 3,000 persons, which expanded its activities during this period to 40 countries on all continents. He acted for nearly 25 years as the VP Finance and Administration of Lallemand. His responsibilities included accounting, control, information technology, finance, taxation, administration, as well as strategy and business development. He participated in over 60 acquisitions and joint ventures all over the world. Today he continues to act part time as Senior VP and Special Advisor. Before joining Lallemand, he was the Financial Director of a cooperative in food retailing, and prior to that he served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a financial services officer, including a period of service with the United Nations and at the Collège Militaire Royal de St-Jean in various training and teaching roles.
Before becoming a chartered CPA (CGA), Réjean Landry earned his MBA at University of Western Ontario and his BBA in administration at Collège Militaire de St-Jean, Université de Sherbrooke. He is now adjunct professor at HEC Montréal in the department of International Business.
Besides his involvement in business and education, he is an active contributor to community services. He has spent several years on the Board of Directors and acted as Treasurer of Financial Executives International (FEI Canada) for the Quebec chapter. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of l’Hirondelle, which provides integration services to immigrants. Furthermore, he is a mentor to entrepreneurs at the Canadian Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs and the Center for Business Assistance of Upper Montérégie.

Biographie : Après des études universitaires en Economie et en Marketing menées à Paris (Sorbonne) et à Reims (ESC), Christophe Lecante débute sa carrière en 1991 à Montréal en tant que responsable de la veille stratégique de Sodexo, groupe international de services.
Après avoir animé plusieurs centres de profit, il prend en 1997 la direction de l’aéroport de Toulon Hyères et se confronte à la pratique opérationnelle du management et de la qualité dans l’industrie et les services aéronautiques.
En 2003, TKM naît d’une rencontre avec des chercheurs de l’université de Grenoble spécialisés en Economie de l’Innovation. Editeur logiciel et société de services, TKM met les techniques de la fouille de données appliquée à la littérature scientifique au service de la prise de décision dans les métiers de l’innovation et de la recherche.
Par ailleurs VP Innovation du Comité Richelieu (association de +500 PME/ETI Innovantes) il participe activement à l’émergence au niveau Européen d’un véritable pacte entre les Etats, la recherche publique, les grands groupes et les entreprises d’innovation et de croissance. Josep Perelló
Josep Perelló is Associate Professor at the Physics Department of the University of Barcelona. He leads the OpenSystems group, which focuses on citizen participation and artistic practices as an alternative ways of doing science. Pep Torres
Born in 1965, Pep Torres has a renaissance-style vision and works as an inventor, consultant, speaker, designer, writer and also collaborates on TV and radio programs.
Since 2005, he has been running the invention and creativity studio Stereonoise S.L.; a company dedicated to the development of new products, creative consultancy and generating media attention for its clients. His inventions and proposals have received worldwide recognition on numerous occasions and have appeared on the front page of such prestigious newspapers as the Wall Street Journal or TIME Magazine
In 2006, he was awarded the Barcelona Premi Ciutat in the multimedia section for the exhibition “Futour, un tour por el futuro”. In 2009, one of his inventions appeared on TIME magazine’s list of the fifty best inventions in the world.
For three years, Pep Torres has created and managed the AATIC International Ideas and Inventions Fair held annually in the coastal town of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona). He is also on the international judging panel of such prestigious innovation fairs as Inpex in Pittsburgh, Inova in Zagreb, Euro Invent in Romania and the British Invention Show in London.
Pep’s career has inevitably led him to open the miba, The Museum of ideas and inventions of Barcelona. This is the first permanent museum dedicated to inventions that supports and channels creativity and invention through inspiration, training, communication, and by building relationships with leaders in innovation at all levels.
