Madanmohan Rao is a journalist, author, blogger and consultant in media and management based in Bangalore, India. He was the world music editor at Rave magazine, where he reviewed concerts, albums and music genres for seven years. Madan was also a radio jockey for world music at World Space Satellite Radio, where he produced a weekly two-hour programme on world music. He is currently global correspondent for World Music Central and Jazzuality.
He was formerly an RJ for world music at WMUA FM 91.1 in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA. Madan is also music editor for IndiaSe (“From India”) magazine published from Singapore. He is the founder of the “World of Proverbs” project and book series which includes the book “Indian Proverbs and Quotations.”
