Laurent Simon is a professor in innovation management at HEC Montreal, in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department. His work focuses on the innovation value chain and its organization: management of knowledge, ideas and innovative projects.
His recent publications include “The Elgar Companion on innovation and knowledge creation” (with H. Bathelt, S. Henn and P.Cohendet, 2017, Edwards Elgar), and “Innovation communities” (with B. Sarazin, EMS, 2017). Laurent Simon is co-responsible with Professor Patrick Cohendet for the MOSAIC research and development structure at HEC Montreal on the management of creativity and innovation.
