A dynamic, interactive and multidisciplinary approach

The Summer School faculty members are innovative and have in-depth understanding of current management practices. Leaders from creative companies and prestigious speakers from a wide array of sectors supplement the faculty.  The program also builds on the experience of its participants, drawing out the experience of those in the class to illustrate learnings and facilitating the link between theory and practice.

The program features visits to innovating companies and creative organizations, interactive workshops, meetings with renowned creators and creative managers, and co-creation projects.

Participants discover new ways of doing business in a fast paced, friendly and collaborative environment.  At the end of the program, Summer School participants become part of the international Mosaic community.

TEAM

The idea of creating this unique program in management of creativity and innovation is the brainchild of Patrick Cohendet and Laurent Simon, professors at HEC Montréal and co-directors of Mosaic, HEC’s Creativity & Innovation Hub.

From its onset, the program has been enthusiastically supported by HEC Montréal and the University of Barcelona, along with many partners in both academia and the business communities of both cities.

Launched in 2009, the Summer School has inspired the creation of other schools on management of creativity and innovation in Europe, South America and Asia, and is considered as the international reference in the field of management of creativity and innovation.
